Lakes - Intro to Rock Climbing
Aimed for those with little or no previous experience of rock climbing, this course is designed to get you started by teaching you the essential core skills of a rock climber. Based at some of the finest Lakeland crags in and around Borrowdale and the Lakes, we aim to take in some of the many classic routes it has to offer. Our objectives for the course look at rope work, belay techniques, guidebook use, route choice, single and multi-pitch climbing, knots, what to carry, tying in, movement coaching and of course, climbing some routes!
