Lakes - Outdoor Navigation
Navigation in the mountains is one of the most challenging and demanding tasks any hill goer will face. This course aims to equip you with the skills to move confidently and safely. Based in the Lakeland fells surrounding Keswick we will look at the use of a compass, interpreting contours and reading the land, pacing, micro navigation and instilling confidence and self assurance in your nav. No previous experience is necessary - just enthusiasm for the hills!
