Winter Courses
The Scottish winter environment provides some of the most testing conditions the mountains can throw at you and as a result, makes a day out in Scottish winter some of the most memorable and rewarding a walker or climber can imagine.
Based in the Fort William area, the mountains of the west coast of Scotland offer some of the most dramatic and challenging days out in the country. Due to the demanding nature of Scottish winter, it's worth noting that a good level of fitness is required for all courses. So, if it's your first time out in crampons or you're ready to bash your axes in to some steep ice or just want to take in some classics like the C.M.D arête, the Aonach Eagach and Curved Ridge, Scottish winter has got it all.
